We exist for people across Harrison County and beyond who are longing to meet with God in the midst of real life. In a culturally and politically conservative community, many of the people drawn to this church have quietly wondered if there is a place where they can be fully themselves without hiding or posturing.
Our congregation includes some long-time Presbyterians and some who have joined us from other faith traditions. It includes those who once participated in church but stepped away, unsure where they fit. It includes people who have felt hurt, excluded, or unseen—particularly individuals and allies of the LGBTQ community as well as others who have struggled to reconcile their faith and identity.
It is not our intention to “convert” anyone—our intention is to love and support one another the way Jesus taught that we should do. If part of your journey includes, or has included, the traditional accepting of Jesus as savior we certainly support that. If it has not, or does not, you are loved and accepted as a valuable member of this community.
