…at Corydon Presbyterian Church. Our vision is to share God’s all-embracing love in our community and the world–and that includes within our Corydon Presbyterian Community. We gather together as a community of faith in various ways.

…regularly on Sunday mornings at 10am, and at special services throughout the year, like our congregation’s Longest Night Service and Christmas Eve, and our community Ash Wednesday and Holy Week services. Music is an important part of our worship together. In the early 1800s, leaders would “line out” hymns for the congregation to sing because hymnals were relatively rare on the frontier.

Corydon Presbyterian was the first church in Harrison County to have an organ in its sanctuary. These days, we enjoy the musical gifts of several of our folks who play various instruments including the piano, flute, guitar, euphonium, drums and trumpet.

We encourage people of all ages to gather in worship with us. To help accommodate parents with small children we have the Prayground, an area of the sanctuary where the youngest worshipers can experience worship while having more freedom to move and express themselves. Quiet games, activities and books are available for children to use, as well as seating for parents, while in the Prayground.

We gather for church work days to help care for the building and grounds, as we try to be good stewards of our resources.
